California’s Forgotten Children

Stephen composed the original music, crafted the sound design and mix for California’s Forgotten Children, a feature documentary directed by Melody C. Miller. The film follows survivors of child sex trafficking who become powerful advocates for change. The film won Best Documentary at the Soho International Film Festival, along with multiple humanitarian and audience awards. California’s Forgotten Children has been distributed on PBS, Amazon Prime Video, and Apple TV, and is widely used by schools, nonprofits, and policymakers to raise awareness and inspire action to end child exploitation.
