Brainstorms

Stephen collaborated with Pollen Music Group on multiple projects for Brainstorms—a groundbreaking, brain-data-driven visual music experience created in partnership with Pink Floyd and Imogen Heap. He contributed music and sound design for the Frameless installation in London, and performed live improvisations on violin for the BrainMind Summit at Google X. During this performance, Stephen wore a brain-sensing headset that tracked his neural activity in real time as he played alongside an audience participant, exploring the shared neurological responses to music.
